🐾 ARIES PET PARADISE — GROOMING POLICIES

These policies ensure a safe, smooth, and stress-free grooming experience for every pet in my care. Please review before booking.

📅 ARRIVAL & APPOINTMENT POLICIES

Late Arrival Policy

• Under 10 minutes late: No fee

• 10-14 minutes late: $5

• 15 minutes late: $10

• 15+ minutes late: $1 per minute

If a client arrives too late for me to safely or reasonably complete the groom,

the appointment may be canceled.

 

In these cases:

• The deposit is forfeited

• The appointment is considered a no-show

• A new deposit is required to rebook

 

Late fees and cancellation policies apply per appointment block.

Appointments with multiple pets require more time and may be canceled sooner if delayed.

A no-call/no-show occurs when a client does not arrive for their scheduled appointment

and does not contact me before the appointment start time.

 

Excessive lateness may be treated as a no-show at my discretion.

​

No shows result in:

• Forfeiture of the booking deposit

• A no-show fee of $25 per appointment

• A new deposit required to book future appointments

⏰ PICK-UP POLICY

Once notified your pet is ready, you have 45 minutes to pick them up.

Late Pick-Up Fee

• Past 45 minutes: Flat $30 late pick-up fee

Emergency Exception

If you have a real emergency, text me immediately.
Communication = I will be fair.
No communication = $30 fee applies.

💉 VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

For the safety of all pets and my home:

• Current rabies vaccination is required for all dogs, as required by Texas law.

• You may be asked to provide proof of rabies (tag or vet record).

• Puppies must be on an appropriate vaccine schedule as recommended by their vet.

If your pet is not up to date on rabies or shows signs of illness, I may refuse or stop services for safety.

💰 DEPOSITS 

• Grooming appointments require a %50 deposit

• Deposits apply to your final balance

• Refundable/transferable only with 48+ hours notice

🦠 FLEA & TICK RULES

If fleas or ticks are found:

• Light presence → $15 fee flea bath

• Moderate infestation → $15 flea bath and $5-$15 for removal

• Severe infestation → Pet may be sent home, and deposit forfeited

This protects all pets in the salon.

🦴 POTTY & CLEANLINESS

Please potty your dog before drop-off.
Excessive dirt, feces, urine, or mess may result in extra cleaning fees. ($5-$15)

✂️ GROOMING STYLE & EXPECTATIONS

I always aim for your desired look, but results depend on:

• Coat condition

• Matting

• Length available

• Behavior

• Health or age

• Damage or texture

Safety will ALWAYS override style.
If the requested haircut is unsafe, the safest alternative will be done.

⚠️ BEHAVIOR & HANDLING FEES

Your pet’s behavior determines what services can safely be completed.

Handling Fees:

• Mild difficulty → $10

• Moderate difficulty → $15-20

• Severe difficulty/aggression/anxiety → $25-$30

May apply for:

• Biting or attempts to bite

• Jerking, spinning, pulling

• Excessive anxiety or screaming

• Needing multiple breaks

• Needing muzzling (with consent)

If unsafe, the groom may be shortened or stopped.
No refunds for incomplete grooms due to behavior.

✂️ Brush De-Matting Fees  ($5-$100)

If your pet has matting, additional matting fees will apply based on severity and time required.
Severe matting may require a shave-down for your dog’s safety.

💨 DRYING POLICY

• I do NOT use heated cage dryers.

• If your pet cannot tolerate HV drying, I will hand-dry or towel-dry as needed.

• This may affect fluffiness or final style but ensures safety.

🏡 HOME-BASED GROOMING RULES

For privacy and safety:

​

• Please do not enter the grooming area unless invited

• Children cannot enter the grooming space

• Secure dogs on a leash during drop-off and pick-up

• Drive slowly and carefully in the neighborhood

• 🚫 Do NOT ring the doorbell
  🚫 Do NOT knock on the door
  🚗 Stay in your car — I will come outside for drop-off & pick-up

This keeps dogs calm and prevents excitement or chaos inside the home salon.

 

🪴 DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

By booking, you agree that:

• You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog to my property, including but not limited to:

  • Chewed leashes, beds, kennels, or equipment

  • Doors, walls, or furniture damaged from scratching/chewing

  • Excessive messes requiring extra cleaning (urine, feces, vomiting repeatedly, etc.)

If significant damage occurs due to your pet’s behavior, a damage or cleaning fee may be added to your total.

 

❤️ SENIOR PETS, SPECIAL-NEEDS PETS & PUPPIES

These pets may require:

• Slower grooming

• Breaks

• Modified haircut

• Shortened service

• Ending the groom early if stressed

Your pet’s safety and comfort come first.

📸 PHOTOS & VIDEOS

Photos/videos may be taken for:

• Progress

• Before/after

• Safety documentation

• Marketing/social media

If you prefer no posting, notify me at drop-off.
Safety photos may still be taken for documentation.

📍 OWNER AGREEMENT

By booking with Aries Pet Paradise, you agree to:

• Follow all grooming policies

• Pay any applicable fees

• Disclose behavioral or medical concerns honestly

• Understand grooming carries natural risks

• Understand safety overrides style

• Accept that services may be modified for safety

• Respect the pick-up and arrival policies
